My name is B Michael Payne. I’m a writer, web editor, internet marketer, and website copywriter. Right. Maybe, if I were a better “writer,” the sentence before the previous sentence wouldn’t have made your mind drop blue lipped into a boredom coma. Or something. The thing is, I’m still learning.

The website that serves as my “calling card” or “business card” (please don’t think of American Psycho) is B Michael Dot Org. There, you can find links to longer pieces that I’m proud of, and, perhaps embarrassingly, links to my resume and masters thesis. At B Michael Dot Org you should get a decent feel for my areas of interest: music, sports, and feminism.

Otherwise, just browse around this site. It has some brief and less brief writing about my areas of interest. There are also funny photos which are all my copyright in perpetuity or until I delete my Tumblr (TM SoM), unless otherwise (hopefully) noted. Songs, as well. Those are all labeled, and are for the sole purpose of cracking open a bit of the coating on my (so-called) mental processes, feelings, and emotions. The songs listed on this site (unless, again, otherwise noted) are all copyright to and solely belonging to the writers, publishers, and/or performers of those songs. Same thing goes for videos, of which there are significantly fewer on this site. If you or anyone you legally represent want any media taken down from the site for a good reason, then please contact me and I’ll do it.
