Last night my buddy Brad invited me to a very mellow show. Lambchop at Le Poisson Rouge, and a surprise opener: Yo La Tengo. The latter played an acoustic “Sugar Cube”. The former’s Kurt Wagner sounded uncannily like himself in person.
