This statement hell of cracks me up for some reason. Like, fire fighters have been dangerously/ignorantly using a fire pole for decades, and then one day, like, fucking Larry is like, “Uh… Yo guys. I’m just gonna take the stairs this time.” Like, the fire fighters had been fucking breaking their legs and spraining their ankles. Joelle like split her head open when she slipped off, and Anthony is in a coma because Sal landed on top of him.
And slowly, then quickly, the rest of the fire fighters were like, “Ohhhhh. Good idea. Maybe we’ll all start taking the stairs.” I mean, they can fucking run red lights. It’s not like sliding down a pole makes them significantly faster.
