Forest Fire - Sunshine City

Ryan Catbird’s earlier post about Forest Fire got me thinking about them again. Hell if they didn’t release one of the best albums of last year.(What’s with release year discrepancies between the UK and the US? It’s bad enough that they liked Kings of Leon for a full-on three years before us, but now they’re end-of-year-topping their lists with two releases from last year?)

‘N e’ way, this is some real American-type of music: Shambolic, heterogeneous, and grim while retaining the irrepressible forward urge of history.
