This is a decent review, but it kind of highlights how much of a ‘fucking dreamworld’ AnCo populates and the kind of expectations people have when they’re listening to the band’s music. How ‘listenable’ a piece of music is is not something I want to be pleasantly surprised about. I think because their progress been ‘organic,’ people don’t realize that AnCo are getting close to making Enya/Yanni-type music for the post-hipster generation.
