Because I finally got around to optimize my the “Highlight color” in the “Appearances” Preferences Pane, I had the occaision to make a Google image search for the word “highlight.” And since I have a particularly visceral sensitivity to images of destroyed or scraped off skin, there was in me waves and waves of revulsion when I saw the thumbnail of this image. Why would they show someone with a grievous head skin face injury when you search for “highlight.” But I steadied myself. I needed to know what this was about so maybe I could get past it.
