Taste is like a nuclear arms race. If everyone could agree that it’s not a competition, and therefore it’s not even that important, then we could all just stop. But…
On the other hand, that’s sort of easy to say if you also think your taste is just fine, and people aren’t jumping up and down to tell you otherwise. So in that sense, “disarmament” feels easy.
What I’m saying is you can’t hug a child with nuclear taste.
