Weigh Less, Pay Less: Whole Foods Offers Discount Based On BMI - Whole Foods - Jezebel
Feminists are outraged because Whole Foods is using a smart business model. It’s offering greater rewards to people who are healthy. A BMI above 30 is considered “obese”. That is not healthy. And that costs the company money. So they are encouraging people to have low blood pressure, lower BMI (still well within the normal range for the highest discount), and be non-smokers in order to qualify for additional discounts.
I see no problem with encouraging HEALTH.
If it’s true that ‘feminists are outraged that…,’ then I cannot countenance these so-called feminists. Privilege blah blah blah.
Nothing tastes as good as being thin except for paying less for tasting things that don’t taste as good as being thin.
