I just think people should draw upon the courage of their convictions and their intelligence in order to make honest, insightful appraisals of things and ideas. I understand that it’s easy to feel shut out (and by the way, it goes both ways. Try all the time mouthing off contrarian style and see how popular you are) by the crowd. But if  you love an idea and defend it with pure heart, your valor will be noted if only for an instant.
