I know that there’s nothing at all wrong with being a person who gets paid money to have sex in front of a camera that makes videos that people then masturbate to. (Except for the likely culture of abuse, drug dependency, disease, and poverty.)
But do you remember when ‘everyone’ was making a big deal of calling Sasha Grey a stupid, namedropping idiot slut pornstar? And how ‘everyone’ loves deconstructing Lady Gaga’s, like, repurposed couture and shitty music videos?
There’s nearly a negative correlation between depth and celebrity. You know those things, I think they’re called reflecting pools? The things that are very shallow? They’re good for gazing in to see yourself? And the narcissism?
This is just such a profoundly boring game to play. It’s either fun or it’s serious.
