Basically, I am not sold on the actual content being improved by digital distribution (eg, picture books [really, tell me the god damn fucking truth—when’s the last time you read a book with pictures in it and was like Ohh hmmm these pictures is fucking great?; multi-media video/sound/clicky shit; hypertextual chefs-d’oeu·vre; etc.). I do think that having an interesting, in-depth method of discerning process, influence, and meaning will amplify if not our enjoyment then at least our critical facing-toward of, you know, stuff.
