So I figure that folks who are fans of (what I’d call) cult TV hit Sports Night would also be interested in a Tumblr-only fantasy football league. (I never play football in my fantasies, har har.) Because they have a lot in common:

• Smart
• Fun
• Sports-related
• Dialogue-driven
• Lots of those walk-and-talk shots
• Undercurrents of will-they-or-won’t-they romance (!?)
• Of interest to approx. 10 to 14 people

So after receiving two assurances after asking two people if they’d want to do such a thing, I figured I’d do a ‘soft launch’ involving Photoshop and some Google Image I found.

I realize this is a really oddly worded post. I guess the idea was I would just sort of outline my thinking behind how I chose to craft the image for it. And now I’m going into my thinking behind the way I’d make the post itself. My meta-thinking around the whole thing was to sort of show that the whole enterprise would be fun and non-threatening and sort of talk-aroundy (no maud new-no). You know, not like those other fantasy football leagues out there. I mean, it will still be very dorky, but it will also be fun and light and so on.
